Contributed Papers

Contributed Papers are submitted by individual authors, and describe original theoretical or applied work in mechatronic systems. Contributed papers are limited to 8 pages in length. The preferred length for a contributed paper is six pages. A maximum of two additional pages is allowed, for a charge of $150 per additional page. Submissions exceeding eight pages in length will not be accepted for review. Additional file size restrictions may also apply

Contributed papers are reviewed on the basis of their original contribution, technical correctness, quality of presentation, and relevance to the AIM community. Complete manuscripts are expected and extended abstracts are not sufficient.

Contributed papers are assembled into thematically coherent contributed sessions by the conference Program Committee (PC). To ensure that papers are matched with qualified reviewers and placed in appropriate sessions, authors should identify three keywords that most closely match their paper’s themes. A list of keywords may be found at the AIM 2016 paper submission site.

The deadline for contributed paper submission may be found at the AIM 2016 website, www.aim2016.net. Authors are suggested to check the website frequently for updates.  Additional information on paper preparation may be found via the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society here, including templates for LaTex and Word support.

Upload of the final version of each accepted paper must be accompanied by payment of full registration by at least one author. Each full registration will enable upload of two papers. Over-page charges will be assessed separately.

A one-page digest must be uploaded with each final paper. A digest template may be uploaded here.  An optional video upload may accompany each final paper upload.   The maximum paper file size is 6 MB, while the maximum video file size is 10 MB.
